About the Aviation Run

The Aviation run held its first edition in 2019 when the Uganda Aeronautical Information Services Officers’ Association partnered with Uganda Civil Aviation Authority to give the public an opportunity to participate in the aviation corporate social responsibility spearheaded by UGAISOA since 2013. This years’ proceeds will help procure Resources, Tools and Technology to Foster School Success for students with visual impairment. Participants are encouraged to run from any part of the world and post their distance and time on this website after registering. The physical event shall be held in May 2022 at Entebbe International Airport and at five other airports around the country including Soroti Airport, Gulu Airport, Arua Airport, Mbarara Airport, Kisoro Airport. Participants around each of these airports shall run as per guidelines provided at the meeting point.
