Assumption of Risk: Participants acknowledge that running/walking is a strenuous activity and may result in physical exhaustion. They enter the race at their own risk and discharge the organizers and sponsors from any injury, illness, loss, or equipment damage incurred as a result of their participation. On the event day, participants will be responsible for their personal safety, including but not limited to: the running or walking route they choose and its associated risks, their running/walking times, and hydration along the running routes.
Age Restrictions: Participants in the 12km and 6km races must be over 18 years of age. Participants below the age of 18 shall participate in the 5km and 3km Family Fun Run/Walk and must always be accompanied by a responsible adult who has agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of the event.
Participant Entitlements: Registered participants are entitled to a T-shirt kit before the race and a medal. As directed on the website, participants from Uganda will have to pre-book timeslots to pick up the kit. International participants will take up all and any shipping charges associated with the delivery of their kit.
Insurance Recommendation: The organizers recommend participants consider having suitable sports activity insurance cover in place in the event of any illness, accident, injury, or damage caused during the event.
Route Familiarization: Participants are advised to familiarize themselves with the route and any risks associated with it before the official run/walk day.
Hydration and Recharging: All participants, especially those taking part in the long-distance runs (12km and 6km), are advised to make necessary personal arrangements for their hydration and recharging during their races.
